Fortnite Infinite Heal Bug

A game-breaking glitch is allowing players to get infinite heals in Fortnite

A problematic bug.

Fortnite Season 6 has introduced an array of new content into the game. However, some unintended bugs and glitches have made it way into the game. Players were able to get unlimited gold bars in one such case. Now, another bug has been discovered which has the potential to be game breaking. The bug allows players to get infinite heals in Fortnite. This includes shield potions, medkits, vegetables, and more.

The prominent Fortnite Youtuber known as OrangeGuy shared a video demonstrating the glitch. It is important to note that OrangeGuy does warn players that using this in a public match can result in a ban. This is because Epic Games counts exploiting bugs as a form of cheating. However, it is important to be aware of incase other players are using it against you. Players can simply hide in the storm and use infinite heals to get an easy win for example. If you are a fan of Call of Duty: Warzone, this can be compared to the infinite stim glitch.

It’s activated in a similar fashion to infinite-item glitches. Basically, it requires tricking the game with swift button presses. When timed correctly, you effectively trick the game into recreating an additional item. It’s mostly a programming bug, but can be exploited with practice.

Waiting for a fix

The Fortnite infinite heals bug is definitely one of the most game breaking exploits we have seen in Season 6 so far. At the time of writing, Epic Games has not responded to the issue. However, it is likely the developers are already aware of it due to the issues that it is causing. It will be interesting to see if a fix will be deployed in the next update. Until then, you can keep up with the bugs and glitches that the developers are working on using the Fortnite Trello Board.
