Fortnite Star Wars Celebrations

Epic Games is kicking off two weeks of Star Wars celebrations in Fortnite

May the 4th be with you in Fortnite.

In the past, Epic Games has spearheaded various collaborations with Fortnite and Star Wars. This includes cosmetics in the Battle Pass and in-game store, as well as the company showing exclusive videos from Star Wars movies and more. Now, the worlds of Fortnite and Star Wars are set to collide once again for another “May the 4th” celebration. It will reintroduce Star Wars weapons and cosmetics, while bringing new challenges that allow you to go through Stormtrooper training.

It would not be “May the 4th” without classic Star Wars weapons. You will be able to get your hands on multiple lightsabers during the celebration, such as the ones owned by Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, Mace Windu and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Apart from lightsabers, you can also hopefully not miss with the E-11 Blaster Rifle. You may come across the weapon when you are searching chests. However, to guarantee yourself one, visit a Stormtrooper checkpoint and exchange some gold bars for the rifle.

Take on the tasks of a Stormtrooper in Fortnite

During the Star Wars celebrations in Fortnite, you will have the chance to complete some quests. The quests include confiscating a landspeeder and Jedi contraband — in other words, a vehicle and a lightsaber. You have until May 17 to complete them and earn XP for each quest. Taking on five quests will see you earn the Empire Banner.

The item store will also be filled with every non-Battle Pass Star Wars outfit that has been in Fortnite previously. This includes Imperial Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, Kylo Ren and much more. If you missed out on any of the Star Wars cosmetics in the past, you now have the chance to get all the gear you need to join in with the festivities. Fortnite will be celebrating Star Wars for almost two weeks, so you will have more than enough time to get in on the action.
