Fortnite Fire With Fire Week

Fortnite v21.51 introduces Fire with Fire Week and makes changes to the store

Set the island alight.

Although Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 will some come to an end, Epic Games is continuing to roll out updates in this latter part of the season. Recently, Fortnite fans enjoyed a Dragon Ball Z crossover and the launch of Phantasm Week, which unvaulted shrouding weapons and items. Now, a new week has begun known as Fire with Fire Week. Once again, the loot pool has been shaken up, and more limited-time challenges are ready and waiting to be completed.

During Fire with Fire Week, the Primal Flame Bow and Dragon’s Breath Shotgun will make their return to Fortnite. These weapons can be found as ground loot and in chests. If you need to stock up on some arrows for your Primal Flame Bow, you can pick them up from the ground or by searching ammo boxes. To really set things alight, Firefly Jars will spawn at a higher rate on the ground and in chests. Also, Chug Cannons can still be purchased with gold bars, but they too will appear on the ground and in chests as a way to protect yourself against the damage the flames will cause.

While you’re setting fire to your opponents and the island, you’ll also be able to complete some Fire with Fire Week quests. It’s definitely worth giving them a go if you need to rack up some extra XP before Chapter 3 Season 3 ends.

More changes with the Fire with Fire Week update

A notable change has been made to the in-game store as well. There is now a hold to purchase mechanic to prevent accidental purchases. Moreover, you can now cancel a purchase until you equip the item in a match or until 24 hours after the purchase, whichever happens first.

You can hop into Fortnite’s Fire with Fire week from now until September 13 at 9 AM ET.
