Details of each weapon that has undergone some sort of tuning was shared in a thread on the Fortnite Status Twitter account. Five out of the seven new weapons that joined the island with the launch of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 have experienced some sort of balancing. First up, the Tactical Pistol has received a buff with improved accuracy and recoil. The Maven Auto Shotgun has also seen its accuracy raised, while the fire rate has been increased. Sticking with shotguns, you’ll notice that the Thunder Pump Shotgun will equip faster and allow you to get into the action that little bit quicker.

The list of changes continued. The Ex-Caliber Rifle has been handed a nerf. Its hip fire accuracy, player, and structure damage have all been reduced, with structure damage taking the biggest hit. In addition, you’ll have to use the Shockwave Hammer wisely as the recharge time has been raised. A final minor adjustment has been made to Light Ammo which will now drop in stacks of 20, rather than 18.
