Fox Engine showcased in ten minute Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes trailer

This ten minute long trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes offers a first look at the new Kojima Productions Fox Engine in motion. Looks like it can handle rain, lightning and clothing effects, that’s for sure.

Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes has only been announced for Xbox 360 and PS3 at present, but this trailer is said to actually be running on a PC; one with “comparable” specs to the current console generation.

Ground Zeroes is not supposed to be Metal Gear Solid 5 (according to the PlayStation Blog) and nor is it Kojima’s mysterious ‘Project Ogre’. The man himself took to twitter to state “I’m sick & tired of people keep asking me like “is that project Ogre?” here in Seattle everyday” and makes it pretty clear that Ground Zeroes is not that project.
