Europa Universalis IV will be getting some free DLC in honour of International Women’s Day.

The Women’s History DLC will add 100 of history’s great women to the game, and it won’t cost you a penny. Each of these characters are generated through specific event triggers – a weak regency or a colonial empire, for instance – and once generated, they’re yours to employ as you see fit. Some might make good advisors, while others might be worthy rulers.

The Women’s History DLC for Europa Universalis IV should be out on 8 March (International Women’s Day), for the grand price of £0.00. While we’re on the topic, Peter reviewed the game’s newly launched El Dorado DLC and rather approved of it; you can read up on that here.
