If you were expecting to play Freedom Cry today on PC, the story-based DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, your hopes may be dashed like so many brittle sailing ships upon the rocky shores of Delay Bay. Ubisoft has said that Adewale’s tale will be late for PC users.
Over on the Ubisoft forums, the news is confirmed by the development team.
The PC version of the Freedom Cry DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will release in the coming days. We are taking the extra time to apply a final layer of polish to ensure that it meets the expectations of our fans.
So, that’s a bit of a shame. I was planning to play it tonight for review purposes. That’ll have to wait!
