Forget space and Elite for a minute and think coasters as Frontier start work on new IP.

Frontier’s Elite Dangerous has done brilliantly so far but the Studio is now working on a new IP called Coaster Park Tycoon. It’s not new ground for Frontier because of their work on RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 way back in 2004 which was very well received.
Frontier will have some competition in the space with RollerCoaster Tycoon World which is due for release this year. Fortunately there’s a buffer before Frontier’s Coaster Park Tycoon arrives in 2016.
It looks like theme parks and coasters might just be making a comeback. We’ll keep you posted when more in this new game is available from Frontier.
