Frozen Synapse 2

Mode 7 has released a new trailer for Frozen Synapse 2 which shows more of the gameplay.

The tactical strategy game was scheduled to release this year but it now looks like the game has slipped into 2017. The Steam page is still showing a 2016 release date but will likely change now.

The game is expected to appear on Early Access first, and based on what’s been shown so far, it should be worth the slightly longer wait. Back in March, Mode 7 mentioned that should Frozen Synapse 2 do well in Early Access, a 3v3 and 4v4 multiplayer option will be added. That’s something we would like to see.

For now, check out some of the new units and weapons in action.
