Many asked, and Mode7 has responded. Frozen Synapse, the contemporary take on turn-based squad strategy games, now has a demo.
The demo features one randomly generated single-player “skirmish” mission and three hand-picked missions from the single player campaign.
That means no multiplayer action, sadly. For an idea what that’s like you’ll just have to read what happened when I took Tim on at the game (spoiler: I lost) in our Communal Evening With.
If you like the demo, you may be interested to hear that Steam has Frozen Synapse discounted by 50% until 15 August (making it $12.50 USD). Every purchase nets you two copies, too. So you can practically force a friend into playing.

End of Nations will be free-to-play
