The UK game retailer simply known as GAME has revealed that it will be opening dedicated pre-owned gaming stores rebranded as Gametronics.

The stores will sell pre-owned games only as well as tablets, MP3 players and TV’s. The first two stores will open in Lincoln and Cambridge although if the idea takes off, we could start seeing more and more appear. Customers will be able to trade in their games for store credit which GAME hopes will appeal to people wanting to buy Xbox One’s and PS4’s.

GAME had a tough time in 2012 when it was forced to shut some its stores and lay off many of its employees. It seems the retailer has since recovered and has reported an 83% increase in its overall sales.

Last year GAME also opened its first dedicated Xbox store, it seems GAME may be back in action.
