Garriot Suing NCsoft For $24m USD

Richard Garriott, creator of Ultima and Tabula Rasa, is suing NCsoft for fraud with the hope of securing $24 million USD.

Although Garriott walked away from failing Tabula Rasa late last year after a trip to space in the hope of finding a new challenge, there seemed to be no ill feeling until a suit was filed at the Texas Western District Court outlining the claim (spotted by Kotaku).

There is no word from NCsoft, nor do we know the exact basis of the claimed fraud, but we’ve put a call in to NCsoft to see if they can shed any light on the situation.

We’ll keep you posted.
