Taste Tester Royce and Ready to Make Sacrifices
From “Adventurous Acquaintance,” reach the part where you can tell Bennett that you’d like to “go on an adventure with him.” Your choice of expedition doesn’t really matter (it’s not where you’re going to). Instead, when asked about getting food ready, tell him “I do” (that you’re willing to cook a meal first).
Follow Bennett to the food vendor and cook the Ominous Meal (1x slime condensate, 1x radish, and 1x mint).
When you’re done, there will be a domain that’s marked on the map. Make your way there.
Accompany Bennett until you reach the final room where an adventurer is waiting. You’ll have to interact with the switches here to disable the trap.
The next part is important since Bennett will attempt to give the Ominous Meal to the adventurer.
Option 1: “You can do whatever you want with it.”
Result: The adventurer will get poisoned, and you’ll get the “Taste Tester Royce” ending.
Option 2: “No way! You don’t owe him anything.”
Result: There will be several dialogue options here, many of which are about Bennett’s own compassion. If you nudge him to taste the food, he’ll be the one who’ll get poisoned instead. This nets you the “Ready to Make Sacrifices” ending.
