Candace’s best weapon options
Favonius Lance – The Favonius Lance is a 4-star Polearm weapon that is accessible to most players. This solid weapon is useful for many support characters who rely on using their Elemental Burst, as it provides a sizable amount of Energy Recharge. The Favonius Lance drops additional energy particles on a critical hit, making this a great support weapon as well. (You get the energy particles, and then swap to another character, funneling the energy into their Elemental Burst.) You will need to build some Crit Rate to use this weapon.
Black Tassel (R5) – The Black Tassel is a free-to-play 3-star Polearm weapon that’s viable as one of the only Polearms in the game to raise HP%. Candace’s Elemental Burst buffs your characters’ Normal Attack DMG, and this is increased further the more HP Candace has thanks to her 4th Ascension Passive. If you have enough HP% through her artifacts, then the Black Tassel is a great option for Candace.
Staff of Homa – The Staff of Homa is a great choice for Candace that will buff both her HP% and Crit DMG. The HP% given is lower than the Black Tassel, only 20% compared to the Black Tassel’s 46.9%. Additionally, Candace’s damage is not great, making building damage on Candace a questionable choice. For this reason, the Staff of Homa may not be as useful on Candace as other support weapons, and it’s not recommended to use this on her. That being said, if you insist on building a Candace who can dish out high numbers, the Staff of Homa is your best bet.

Candace’s best artifact options
Noblesse Oblige
- 2-piece bonus – +20% elemental burst damage.
- 4-piece bonus – +20% ATK for all party members for 12 seconds after using an elemental burst.
The 4-piece Noblesse Oblige will further help Candace buff the damage of her allies, making this the clear winner for this character.
Emblem of Severed Fate
- 2-piece bonus – +20% energy recharge.
- 4-piece bonus – Increases the damage of your elemental burst by 25% of your energy recharge rate. You can gain a maximum of 75% bonus damage in this manner.
Candace’s Energy Recharge requirements are high, and her Elemental Skill does not provide a lot of energy particles. Therefore, it’s recommended that you use the Emblem of Severed Fate if you are struggling to get enough Energy Recharge to consistently use her Elemental Burst.
Tenacity of the Millelith
- 2-piece bonus – +20% HP.
- 4-piece bonus – +20% ATK and +30% shield strength for party members when an elemental skill is used. The effect lasts three seconds and can be triggered once every 0.5 seconds. It can also be triggered even when the artifact set wearer isn’t on the field.
This is a niche option that increases Candace’s HP%, therefore increasing the buff on her Elemental Burst. If you do opt to use Tenacity of the Millelith, it’s recommended to pair it with 2-piece Emblem of Severed Fate. The 4-piece bonus of both the Tenacity and Emblem set is not helpful for Candace in most cases.
Artifact stat priorities
- Main stats: Energy Recharge / HP% / HP%: We want to make sure Candace can consistently use her Elemental Burst here. Once you meet the threshold, you can focus on adding HP% to increase the buff that Candace provides.
- Sub-stats: Energy Recharge / HP% / Crit Rate: Energy Recharge, again, is needed to ensure Candace can consistently use her Elemental Burst. Some Crit Rate is useful if you are running the Favonius Lance. Otherwise, go HP% to increase Candace’s buff.
