Soheil has a few tasks that you’ll need to complete. One of these takes you to another ruined temple where you have to grab an item. Here’s our Genshin Impact Desert’s Remembrance guide to help you with the Tomb of Carouses puzzle as part of the Soheil’s Wish quest.

Genshin Impact Soheil’s Wish guide – Desert’s Remembrance and Tomb of Carouses
Make sure you’re tracking the Desert’s Remembrance quest in Genshin Impact as you make your way to the Tomb of Carouses. Inside, you can pick up a Dendroculus in the left-hand room. Likewise, there’s a red switch in the main area. If you interact with it, it’ll turn blue but nothing else will happen. Click it again so that it reverts back to red. This time, you can jump down the pit and battle the two sentry bots.
After taking them out, check the room behind for a cell and a pedestal. Rotate the beam so that it’s hitting the opposite wall.
Next, go back to the main area and head to the hallway on the right. There are two plates here, as well as two keystones (one in the room and another down the steps).
One plate has a cell that causes the nearby wall to disappear. The other spawns a beam that has to hit the crystal behind that hidden wall.
Down below, you’ll see another keystone and a plate. This will despawn the wall, allowing the beam from earlier to hit the crystal.
This unlocks the chest, as well as the switch next to it.
Interact with the switch and return to the main area. You should now be able to ride the wind current to the top floor. You can pick up some items here, including the notes that you’ll have to hand over to Soheil.
And that’s basically it. You can talk to Soheil to finish this objective, or do the others, such as Invisible Barrier and Hidden Mercenaries.
