Ending 3: Perfect Score and Ending 4: Points Deducted
Requirement: In the library, tell Noelle to “confront the stress of the exam directly.” Then, in the next set of dialogue options, say that she could “take more exams to get used to the atmosphere.”
If you select this reply, Noelle will attempt to take the Adventurer’s Entrance Exam. Before talking to Katheryne in the Adventurer’s Guild, make sure that she’s not part of any story or world quest (these will block progression in the Hangout Event until you clear the task that requires you to interact with her).
In any case, Katheryne will tell you to speak with Cyrus near the tavern. He will present you with three important tests, and you need to pass two out of three of these to succeed. Failing two tests in the Adventurer’s Entrance Exam will cause you to fail Noelle’s Hangout Event as well, and you’d need to restart from this branching point.
First test
- 1: The flower that’s not in Wolvendom = Windwheel Aster.
- 2: The adventurer who left journals and notes = Roald.
- 3: The windless land = Mare Jivari.
If you answer all three questions correctly, you’ll pass the first test. If you get even a single question wrong, then you’ll fail this part.
Second test
Cyrus will ask you for a food item that’s needed by adventurers. Give him 1x Steak (giving him Grilled Fish would be the wrong action).
Third test
If you do pass both tests, meet with Cyrus in Brightcrown Canyon. There, you’ll do battle against a lone Ruin Guard. Don’t worry because you can use your other party members to make quick work of the robot.
Talk to Cyrus afterward and he’ll be gushing all over Noelle. Looks like the Maid-Knight passed with flying colors. This will give you the “Perfect Score” ending for Noelle’s Hangout Event.
As for the “Points Deducted” ending, all you need to do is fail either the first or second test. For instance, you could mess up one of your answers in the first test, but still, give Cyrus a steak for the second test.
You’ll still visit Brightcrown Canyon to fight the Ruin Guard. However, Noelle will feel a little dejected. Visit her again in the library to get the “Points Deducted” ending.
