Radiant Sparks and Behind the Scenes are two minigames in Genshin Impact. The former has you dashing and gliding to collect coins, while the latter is all about beating up a bunch of foes. Here’s our Genshin Impact Radiant Sparks and Behind the Scenes guide to help you with these two activities that are part of Lantern Rite 2023.

Genshin Impact Radiant Sparks and Behind the Scenes guide (Lantern Rite 2023)
Similar to the other minigames in Lantern Rite 2023, Radiant Sparks and Behind the Scenes in Genshin Impact both have rather short quests before you can start your runs. Once you’re done with those, check the event panel and map to see the respective challenge markers.
Radiant Sparks
The goal in Radiant Sparks is to collect a lot of coins, completing the whole run as quickly as possible. There are a couple of notable tidbits here:
- Sparkling Rush is a dash move that you can do by pressing the “E” key. It’s refreshed whenever you pick up the green sprint power-ups along the circuit. Activating this not only gives you a burst of speed, but you’ll also collect all nearby coins, while breaking through obstacles.
- Firework Fruits are large objects that cause your character to bounce all the way up, activating your glide. This is usually followed by air dashes to collect more coins or zooming through rings.
- Characters like Kazuha and Wanderer can help you here if you have them, as their added verticality mechanics can be useful in a bind.

Behind the Scenes
Meanwhile, the Behind the Scenes minigame in Genshin Impact leads to a sequence of battles. When you arrive at the challenge marker, you’ll be up against several mobs (i.e., Hilichurls and Mitachurls). Eliminate them all and open the chest. This will spawn a wind current that takes you up into the air, whereupon you’ll glide through rings to reach the next area. There are three bouts in total, and there will be different mobs in succeeding days. Even better, your foes drop loot, so you could still earn some extra materials.
