Genshin Impact Shadow of the Ancients – How to use Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector
Let’s talk about how we can use the new Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector gadget in Genshin Impact.
Equip Ayesha’s Chaos Prospector from your gadget menu. Once you reach an Investigative Survey location, just press “Z” to plop down one of the devices. You’ve got three charges, and once you go over that limit, the first one that you placed will be removed.
The gadgets have lights that tell you of an important spot, so just head in that general direction and drop another one until you find what you’re looking for. It’s a bit similar to existing mechanics like elemental sight (middle mouse button) and the Treasure Seeking Seelie (from the Lost Riches events).
Our main goal in each location is to find the Conduction Component. However, the device will lead you to various objects first:
- An exquisite chest with Hero’s Wit.
- An encounter against hostile mobs (i.e., Mitachurls or Ruin Guards).
- A strange altar that you won’t be able to use just yet. This might be something we’ll interact with during the next stages of the Shadow of the Ancients event in Genshin Impact.
