Small Lamp Grass is an item found while you’re exploring the Mondstadt region in Genshin Impact. It’s also used by Diluc, Fischl, and Amber as an Ascension Material. Here’s our guide to help you out.

Genshin Impact: Ascension material for Diluc, Fischl, and Amber – Small Lamp Grass locations
Amber is the only free-to-play character who can be obtained readily in Genshin Impact. Unfortunately, she’s absolutely terrible, and you might not want to use her in any of your team compositions for high-end content. Conversely, Diluc and Fischl are among the best characters in the game. However, you can only get them via Wish microtransactions/gacha pulls.
Note: Those who are yet to obtain Fischl might want to wait until Genshin Impact‘s version 1.1 goes live. She’ll be a reward from the “Unreconciled Stars” event.
Anyway, going back to the subject at hand, you’ll find Small Lamp Grass in three locations in the Mondstadt region. The first location is in Wolvendom. You’ll find Small Lamp Grass along the path that leads to the Andrius/Wolf of the North challenge.
Note: This area has dozens of Wolfhook nodes, an Ascension material that only Razor uses.
Next, take a look at the area just south of Whispering Woods. This has several Small Lamp Grass nodes, too, and many of them are clustered together.
Lastly, the plateau directly south of Windrise has Small Lamp Grass. However, they’re scattered all over the place, so be sure to pick up all the ones you spot.
Be sure you farm these nodes every two days (the respawn timer) since multiple characters share the Ascension material. Prioritize Diluc and Fischl if you already have them, but don’t bother with Amber unless you really don’t have a choice.
