Festive Fever stage 3: The Portal of Wonders and Blink of an Eye mode
Once you’ve reached the “Glow of a Thousand Lanterns” Festive Fever stage, you’ll notice two nifty additions in the Theater Mechanicus mini-game.
Portal of Wonders
The first is the Portal of Wonders. It costs 400 Veneficus Sigils to unlock and, since it’s a teleporter, it only has one upgrade level.
The Portal of Wonders costs 40 construction points to build. You’ll need two of these on the map so you can travel back and forth your chosen spots.
Unfortunately, I haven’t really gotten much use out of this tower. For one thing, it’s completely unnecessary when playing co-op. Plus, it’d take up two tower slots, and you might be better off with regular DPS towers or the Ambush Mine.
Blink of an Eye mode
The final feature is called “Blink of an Eye.” It’s a difficulty mode that triples the amount of Veneficus Sigils that you earn. Of course, it goes without saying that this mode is tiresome and taxing.
There are 10 waves in total, with each wave having 20 to 50 enemies. Try to pick the best characters to use in the Theater Mechanicus mini-game to make your runs easier.
