Cryo options: Ganyu

Recommended Videos

Perma-freezing enemies becomes highly important when completing Theater Mechanicus challenges. This is where Ganyu outshines the rest.

Ganyu’s elemental skill applies Cryo to nearby enemies once it’s cast or when it explodes. Even better, her charged attack blooms to apply Cryo in a decent AoE radius. With just a single Hydro tower near a spawn point, Ganyu’s abilities easily freeze mobs that appear.

The only downside is that she’s a 5-star character, and you might’ve missed out on her already if you didn’t get a lucky pull during her banner. Meanwhile, the free-to-play or 4-star alternatives (i.e., Kaeya, Diona, and Chongyun) aren’t as good. Either their abilities have lengthier cooldowns or they just aren’t as reliable as Ganyu.
