Genshin Impact — Three Realms Gateway Offering event guide

So much darkness you'd think Savathun visited Enkanomiya.

Let’s discuss what you can expect from the Three Realms Gateway Offering event in Genshin Impact.

As mentioned earlier, this version of Enkanomiya is different from the regular one. In this place, only the Dainichi Mikoshi is a safe area by default. The rest is covered in Corrosion, a creeping darkness that will debuff your characters (not the type that will deplete their health until they die).

Corrosion is slightly mitigated when you have the Bokuso Box equipped. The gadget is given to you by Tsumi once you meet up with her in the shrine. It has several uses from unlocking sealed teleporters and chests to removing the invulnerability of mobs shrouded in purple flames.

The main goal in this zone is to visit the three landmasses with a Tower of the Void. However, because of Corrosion, your progress might be hampered. The higher it is in a particular sector, the faster the Bokuso Box gets drained.

As such, leveling the Bokuso Box to increase its mitigation is also part of the gameplay loop. This is done by obtaining Light Realm Sigils. This currency is found by opening chests and completing Sentou Trials (i.e., challenge markers that reappear after five minutes).

While you’re at it, you’ll earn a bunch of rewards, such as the Oathsworn Eye catalyst, as well as Bokuso Arts (i.e., party-wide buffs that are active as long as you’re in this zone).

Apart from the above, exploration will also lead you to discover secrets. For instance, there are Guiding Light puzzles that also provide sigils and other loot. Likewise, there’s the Bunkoku Enigma sidequest that entails finding stone slates all over the region.

As an aside, even though this place is surrounded by darkness, this event feels a bit on the “lighter” side, if you know what I mean. It certainly doesn’t have the content that I expected, especially after what we saw from Enkanomiya’s introduction during version 2.4. Compared to that, this is more like a rehash where we just look for collectibles.

But, I digress. Anyway, in terms of rewards, you can go to the event details panel to see the tasks that you can complete. These include opening chests, collecting ores/legumes, defeating the new Shadowy Husk enemies, upgrading the Bokuso Box, and more. Basically, the majority of these tasks are being done as you’re progressing and exploring the area.

Anyway, let’s go to the next part of our Genshin Impact Three Realms Gateway Offering guide series to discuss our main objective for the Aphotic Diffusal quest: the three Towers of the Void.
