So, samurai helmet at the top, then Star Trek in the middle...
Genshin Impact Aphotic Diffusal Tower Of The Void

The Towers of the Void are key objectives in Genshin Impact‘s Three Realms Gateway Offering event. In the main quest known as Aphotic Diffusal, you’re tasked with visiting these landmasses in Enkanomiya, pushing onward against the encroaching darkness, until you can finally unleash the light. Here’s our Genshin Impact guide to help you with the Towers of the Void in the Aphotic Diffusal quest.

Genshin Impact Towers of the Void guide for the Aphotic Diffusal main quest

As long as you have the Aphotic Diffusal quest tracked in Genshin Impact, the locations of the Towers of the Void will always be marked. When you do head to those locations, beware of Corrison, as it will cause your Bokuso Box gadget charges to get drained over time. Because the Bokuso Box will be integral once you reach the tower area, it’s imperative that you have charges remaining (as I’ll explain in a while).

One recourse is to continue farming sigils to level it up, but that can take some time. However, it’s also possible to rush as long as you’re focused on the objective. For instance, if you have Sayu, you can just roll past everything.

Tsumi suggests visiting the locations in order (i.e., northwest, northeast, and south). That’s because these are arranged based on the Corrision levels, or how long your Bokuso Box charges would last.

Anyway, all locations have similar mechanics. You’re going to see a pool of ghostfish because, yes, you’ll be going to the same places where you did the Erebos’ Secret Martial Trials.

In the tower areas, simply follow the Seelie as it leads you to the next section. However, be on the lookout for the new Shadowy Husk enemies. They’re shrouded in darkness, which means you need to press “Z” with your Bokuso Box equipped to remove their invulnerability.

Killing these enemies nets you Husk Gems, which will be useful in a while. Likewise, try to collect a bunch of Apothium Ores and Tokoyo Legumes (the same resources that you’re using to unlock teleporters).

When you reach the final area, you’ll use the Husk Gems, Apothium Ores, and Tokoyo Legumes to remove the seals of the tower controllers. Doing so will let you rotate the tower’s symbols.

The goal is to match the tower’s symbols with the ones that are engraved on a stone pillar (i.e., if the Star Trek symbol is at the bottom of the plinth, then it has to be at the bottom of the tower as well). In any case, you can click on the images below for the required symbols for each tower:

When you’ve correctly assembled each Tower of the Void in Genshin Impact, you’ll need to climb to the very top (Kazuha is quite useful here). Upon reaching it, press “Z” to activate the Bokuso Box and trigger the completion. Do this for all three towers and you’re done with this portion of the Aphotic Diffusal main quest.

However, we’ve still got a long way to go. The next step is to activate other devices and defeat familiar foes as part of The Aftermath and The Call of Ice and Thunder.

Note: In case your Bokuso Box is at a lower level and it’s out of charges, you can rush in and kill the Shadowy Husk enemies for their items. Then, teleport back to the shrine to replenish those charges. Finally, head back to the tower area, climb to the top quickly, and activate the Bokuso Box so you can get the tally done.
