Genshin Impact Version 1.4 Announcement Invitation Of Windblume Mondstadt Windblume Festival Rosaria Abyss Herald

Genshin Impact will have the Mondstadt Windblume Festival in version 1.4

Minigame fiesta!

There are many things that Travelers can look forward to in the coming weeks. That’s because Genshin Impact will have its version 1.4 update, “Invitation of Windblume,” which provides everyone a chance to partake in the Mondstadt Windblume Festival. It’ll present several minigames, the addition of a new character named Rosaria, and even a fight with the Abyss Herald.

The update is in line with what we’ve seen before in the game. For instance, version 1.2 added the chilly Dragonspine region. Meanwhile, version 1.3 just concluded its Lantern Rite Festival a week ago.

Genshin Impact version 1.4: Invitation of Windblume and the Mondstadt Windblume Festival

One can think of the Invitation of Windblume and Mondstadt Windblume Festival in version 1.4 as Genshin Impact‘s ode to spring. Blooming flowers and bright skies set the stage for the commemoration of Mondstadt’s 2,600 years of independence. That leads to several minigames and activities that will be hosted by the Adventurer’s Guild and Knights of Favonius. Just be sure you’ve reached Adventure Rank 20 and you’ve completed the “Song of the Dragon and Freedom” quest if you want to enjoy the celebration.

Anyway, some of these minigames might look familiar, such as gliding to get Anemo particles or sidestepping Electro Tetris blocks. There’s even a minigame where it looks as though the player is racing to the end of a corridor while avoiding Hydro bubbles (like Temple Run of sorts).

Certain events can be done solo or with friends. Players may also expect new rewards such as the Windblume Festival Commemorative Balloon, the Windsong Lyre, and the Windblume Ode 4-star weapon.

Speaking of 4-star content, Genshin Impact‘s roster will see the addition of Rosaria, a 4-star Cryo character. First met during the Chalk Prince and the Dragon event back in December, Rosaria will be part of a featured banner in the upcoming version 1.4 patch. Additionally, players who’ve followed the quest related to “Bough Keeper” Dainsleif will come face to face with the Abyss Herald. I’d venture a guess that this formidable foe will be an elite enemy (like Regisvines or the Primo Geovishap), and not a weekly boss.

The update will also add some tweaks. For instance, the Condensed Resin cap increases from three to five. Likewise, you’ll be able to lower your world level. This is to make the overworld fights easier in both single-player and co-op.

Genshin Impact‘s version 1.4 update, the Invitation of Windblume, will go live on March 17. Naturally, we’ll have more Genshin Impact guides and features once the update and the Mondstadt Windblume Festival become available. For now, you can watch the announcement trailer below. There’s also a special program that will stream on the game’s YouTube channel shortly.
