Genshin Impact: While It’s Warm event guide

Genshin Impact‘s While It’s Warm event sounds fairly simple enough. First, open the events panel and you’ll notice three food items that need to be delivered. These can be picked up from chefs like Sara and Smiley Yangxiao. Then, you have to head to a specific NPC’s location within the time limit. Likewise, you can fast travel to speed up the process.

Here’s the kicker: there are several restrictions that would cause you to fail if you don’t complete your run correctly. For instance, some might tell you that you can’t use your glider or that you can’t take damage at all.

Every food delivery in the While It’s Warm event has its corresponding rewards. If you’re able to complete all three daily requests, you’ll also get 60 primogems.

Moreover, the event runs from November 11 to November 18 which means there’s a week’s worth of goodies for you to obtain. I’ve added some examples below:

Day One
Chef and Recipient Restriction Rewards
Sara – Hardworking Silio 90-second timer
Gliding, sprinting, and taking damage
30,000 mora; 3 valberry
Smiley Yangxiao – Laid-back Ling’guan 100-second timer
Taking damage and being affected by elements
20,000 mora; 4 adventurer’s experience
Chef Mao – Tacit Tingfang 90-second timer
Gliding, sprinting, and being affected by elements
20,000 mora; 2 mystic enhancement ore
Day Two

These characters might be able to help

You can do these requests regardless of your party’s setup since it’s mostly just getting from point A to point B and talking to the recipient. However, a few characters might be able to help you out. Still, be forewarned that they’re obtained from Genshin Impact‘s wishes/gacha pulls:

  • Venti – If gliding isn’t restricted, Venti can create a wind current that lets you glide to your destination.
  • Zhongli – You can use Zhongli’s elemental skill to create a pillar to cross gaps. This can be useful if you’re not allowed to be affected by elements (i.e., crossing a body of water gets you affected by Hydro).
  • Mona – Genshin Impact‘s resident astrologer has a unique sprint that makes her move faster (assuming sprinting is allowed, of course).
