Maybe it’s because Halloween is within spitting distance, but there seems to be a lot more survival horror games surfacing as of late. Games like SOMA have revisited the genre through the eyes of an indie development team. This time, the alienation takes place as you awake from a deep sleep in space, only to find yourself alone. Syndrome, from the development studio Camel 101, takes a stab at it–and maybe even you.
The game boasts an inventory management system that guides the tension. There are also limited supplies and weaponry to also ward off varying enemy types. So, observing is part of defeating them in a given environment.
Syndrome is slated for release Q2 2016 for PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Check out the Steam page here to assist in the Greenlighting of this game.
