GOG has been supplying games to PC gamers for five years now so to celebrate the anniversary and the new year they’ve released a video which takes a trip down memory lane.

DRM free has been embraced by PC gamers since the service launched and company co-founder Marcin Iwinski, Creative Director Piotr Karwowski, and Managing Director Guillaume Rambourg all look back at the company’s beginnings.

They remember shutting down GOG and then their comeback with the amusing monks video, discuss the vast quantities of games they’ve shifted through GOG which includes 18 million free games and the fact that 50 million gamers have visited GOG since the service launched.

I think we can all agree that GOG and classic games are here to stay and they play an important part in the world of PC gaming.
