GORN brings ultra gladiatorial violence to VR in July

The team behind Broforce and Genital Jousting (Free Lives) are getting gladiatorial for their next release; GORN. In partnership with Devolver Digital, they’ll be bringing violent acts against chunky muscle men to Steam Early Access on 10 July.

As mentioned in the headline, it’s a VR title, so you’ll need to don your futuristic helmet to take part (Vive is the only one mentioned directly). There’s not much of a backstory to this one. GORN is just going to give you a selection of ancient weapons (axes, throwing knives, morning stars) and the physics system with which to aim them at an endless horde of beefcake opponents.

There’s an announcement trailer below. Before you watch that, though, I highly recommend a visit to the ‘About’ page on Free Lives’ site.
