We already know what content we can expect from Gotham Knights post launch. A Heroic Assault mode will release in November, separate from the main story campaign. You will be able to play it for free with up to four players. Before launch, however, it’s always useful to know the specs. And here are the minimum and recommended PC requirements for Gotham Knights.

Warner Bros. Games shared the PC specs for the upcoming title on Twitter. The response from the community has been one of surprise and slight concern, and you’ll see why.

Minimum PC requirements

The lowest settings for 60 fps and 1080p are as follows:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K or Ryzen 5 3600
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: Geforce GTX 1660 Ti or Radeon RX 590

Recommended PC requirements

Here are the high settings at 60 fps at 1080p:

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-10700K or Ryzen 5 5600X
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: Geforce RTX 2070 or Radeon RX 5700 XT

As you can see from the minimum and recommended PC requirements, Gotham Knights is going to be a demanding game. A Intel Core i7-10700K CPU and a GeForce RTX 2070 GPU are a hefty ask for 1080p and 60 fps settings. In comparison, Batman: Arkham Knight, which was released in 2015, recommended a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760. Gotham Knights is pretty high.

Gotham Knights is set in Gotham City after the death of Batman and Commissioner Gordon. Therefore, it’s up to the Bat Family, consisting of Night Wing, Batgirl, Red Hood and Robin to step up. There are numerous villains causing chaos and its your job to protect the city in this open-world, action RPG setting.

We will have to see just how well Gotham Knights runs on PC when the full game launches on October 21. If you’re interested in playing the game yourself, you can check it out on either Steam or the Epic Games Store.
