Not quite sure whether this is because it’s E3 and there’s a tonne of Total War: Rome 2 screens and info coming out, or if it’s just a happy coincidence, but: if you haven’t picked up the original Rome: Total War then, for the next 14 hours, it’s a mere £1. Or $1. Or €1. Or… well, look: whatever currency you have, it’s probably around one of them. And for once, I’m not going to complain about exchange rates.

Steam’s offering the Rome: Total War Gold Edition (which includes the Barbarian Invasion expansion) for a mere one unit of currency. Considering that Rome: Total War is a rather phenomenal game, and that Total War: Rome 2 excitement is starting to peak, this is the perfect time to grab it if you haven’t already done so.
