Rockstar has finally unveiled Grand Theft Auto Online Heists via a new trailer. There’s no way around it, once they wear the masks, it looks a whole lot like Payday 2.
And that’s not taking away from all the different stuff you can do on Grand Theft Auto Online, such as playing on third person perspective, and using fighter jets as escape vehicles, but with Payday having been around for so long, you simply can’t not make the comparisons.
For what it’s worth, GTA’s heists will be four player coop affairs, with each player taking on a different role, and each heist offering unique challenges and requiring tight coordination.
Watch the trailer followed by a Payday 2 trailer below. Rockstar promises Heists will arrive as a free update to Windows, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
