The next expansion for Guild Wars 2 is called Path of Fire and ArenaNet are giving existing players a taste of what’s to come this weekend.

Starting today, players can start their journey in the Crystal Desert and explore the Crystal Oasis map. With mounts coming in the new expansion, players will also be able to try out a Raptor mount to help with the exploration. They also mention that on 18 August players will be able to experience the new elite specialisations in PvP and WvW.
To take part simply login today and start exploring. You will need to own Guild Wars 2 to get involved. Pre-orders for the expansion can be found here.
