ArenaNet will launch their Guild Wars 2 major features update on 15 April  and one of the new toys players will be able to tinker with is the Wardrobe System.

Every player will have a favourite “look” but just because it makes you look fantastic doesn’t mean it performs in battle when it comes to stats. The Wardrobe System is going to let players browse through their gear and apply the skins to weapons and armour so you get the best of both worlds. It’s a step up for the transmutation system as players can also share the cosmetic items across all characters on an account. Head to wardrobe, browse through all the armour and weapon skins that have been collected and click apply.

The dye tab has also been updated and all dyes collected on an account are available for all characters. The Wardrobe and Dye panels can be switched between easily and changes can be applied at the same time making it a simple system to use.

Expect to spend a lot of time messing around with this as you can see from the video below. The Wardrobe is going to be a huge time sink if you love Guild Wars 2 fashion.
