NCSoft and ArenaNet have announced that their online RPG Guild Wars has now passed six million units sold.Launched in 2005, the action RPG’s free to play model has been proving a success for ArenaNet and NCSoft as the game reaches its fourth anniversary. Celebtrations in-game are now underway from today and ArenaNet studio head Mike O’Brien added:“We are humbled by how gamers have responded to Guild Wars over the past four years, and we are proud that the game and its community have helped to continually shape, define, and expand the genre.
