Test your gun skill.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are getting ready to transition into Season 02 on February 15. So far, Warzone 2 fans should expect the return of many features from the original Warzone. This includes the 1v1 Gulag making a comeback, changes to the looting mechanic, and much more. In terms of multiplayer, it was recently confirmed that Infected is coming back to Modern Warfare 2. In a match of Infected, a player is chosen at random to be the first infected and its their job to infect the rest of the lobby. The match ends with all players being infected or with survivors fighting to the very end. Now, Gun Game looks like the next mode making its Modern Warfare 2 debut with Season 02.

Gun Game was first introduced all the way back in Call of Duty: Black Ops. Ever since, it has been a fan-favorite mode, with players calling for it to be in Modern Warfare 2. In this free for all, each player begins with the same weapon and each kill you earn progresses you onto the next weapon. The first player to cycle through every gun and get an elimination with the final weapon (usually a melee) wins.

Gun Game joining Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 02

The news was revealed when a Call of Duty fan tweeted that “if CoD drops Gun Game, I’m making a vid, I love that mode.” The official Call of Duty account quote retweeted this, asking anyone if they have a camera, teasing that it will return on February 15.

Veteran and newer players alike will welcome the return of Gun Game in Modern Warfare 2. We will have to wait and see if Activision share any more news in the days leading up to the roll out of Season 02.
