Guns and Robots moves robotically into open beta

Guns and Robots

At one time, before Interplay and Bethesda got into a big ol’ legal scrap about it, developers Masthead were working on Interplay’s version of a Fallout MMO. Thanks to Bethesda’s victory in the courts, that’s no longer the case.

However, it’s just possible that Masthead learned enough about how fun the mad, speculative robot designs of that series are to siphon that knowledge off into a totally different game. That’s not to say the robots in Guns and Robots are strictly Fallout-style (they’re not); but there’s a definite air of the absurd about this Spaghetti Western-tinged title.

If you fancy giving Guns and Robots a try, now would be a good time. It’s just entered open beta. You can sign up here to construct the gun-slinging robot of your dreams.
