Hacker Finds Homebrew Exploit on PS Vita

Recommended Videos

In an unexpected twist that may shock Sony, a hacker claims to have found an exploit on the PS Vita that allowed him to create an application which can load homebrew code.

Yifan Lu, the hacker claiming to have found the exploit, also released a few lines of code in hope to convince other developers to participate in his project.

Lu’s application is purely designed to run homebrew code though and shouldn’t provide any form of software piracy which Sony will no doubt be please about.

The hacker say that his homebrew loader is actually based off the Half Byte loader for the PSP.

Homebrew fans will have to wait for now though, since currently there is nothing available to download.
