Halo 4 is Nearly Complete And New Map ‘Longbow’ Details

According to 343 Industries, Halo 4 is entering the final stages of production and the developing team has begun their “super crunch time”. The game so far has a playable campaign from start to finish but some levels need additional work. 343’s focus right now is “polish and bug bashing”. Similarly, the new Spartan Ops mode is in the same stages of development.

In the update, there were also details regarding the new multiplayer map named Longbow. Longbow will be another snow-based map and will be mid-to-long ranged with specific areas for close-combat. The map will include Warthogs, Mongooses, and Ghosts. The map is somewhat Y shaped and fairly symmetrical.

Halo 4 is set to release on November 6 for Xbox 360.
