Halo 4’s ‘Prelude’ trailer goes fully instrumental [Video]

Microsoft has made an interesting stylistic choice with this latest Halo 4 video, ostensibly about the ‘making of’ the game. There are no voiceovers (or even words) in the footage, just snippets from the Halo 4 soundtrack playing over images of people doing mo-cap, or fiddling about on monitors, or giving speeches at games events.

It’s all fairly sedate, which is a nice change of pace from the usual videogame trailer. Watch it, below. If you need some news that’s a little more concrete, you can read about the multiplayer ‘specialisations’ in the game here.

Halo 4 is, as I’m sure you all know, due on 6 November for the Xbox 360.
