Hard Reset extends in March

Flying Wild Hog’s PC shooter Hard Reset will be re-issued as an ‘Extended Edition’ next year, by publishers Kalypso. The changes seem, spookily enough, to directly address the issues brought up in Tim’s review of the title (namely, the length of the game and the lack of variety in enemies).
Five new levels will be added, along with four new enemy types and one new boss. It’s not clear if the (also rather annoying) checkpoint system will be altered, but since ‘gameplay elements’ is on the changes list it may well be. In addition, there’ll be a new back-story (presumably to explain the new levels) and two new areas for a survival mode.
Hard Reset: Extended Edition will be release for the PC in March 2012.
