Now another new crossover is about to kick off, and it’s good news for soccer fans. Harry Kane and Marco Reus are joining The Icon Series in Fortnite.
Harry Kane is the England National Team Captain and Marco Reus is the two-time German Player of the Year. There is no doubt that the cosmetics of these prestigious soccer players will be highly sought after.
How to get the Harry Kane and Marco Reus skins in Fortnite
The Kane and Reus skins will be available to purchase from the in-game item store. Epic Games has confirmed that the skins will be available on June 11 at 8 PM ET. You will be able to choose which player you would like to purchase, as they will be available separately. However, You can also buy both in a bundle. It’s unknown how many V-Bucks the skins will cost. Harry Kane’s skin will be accompanied by a Sweet Victory emote and a Back Bling. Similarly, Marco Reus’ skin will have its own Back Bling, with a Three Wise Monkeys emote.
This is not the first crossover in which Fortnite has featured soccer players and teams. Last season, players got to unlock a Neymar Jr. skin and interact with his NPC. In addition, 23 soccer teams were previously added from across the world. It will be interesting to see if the developers take the soccer crossovers any further in the future.
