Hellgate to reopen in North America

The tale of Hellgate: London is a lengthy one, but the short version is this: the game closed in 2009, was purchased later that year by Korean developer HanbitSoft and relaunched as Hellgate: Resurrection. Now it’s heading back to the US.
Apparently just called Hellgate now, the MMO will be free to play and is set to initially return to North America as a closed beta between 3 June and 5 June this year. HanbitSoft are still at the wheel, aided by companies called T3 Entertainment and Redbana.
Further beta information is promised at the game’s official website, which also contains a trailer for the title.
In case you’ve forgotten what happens in Hellgate (hey, it’s been a while) here’s a summary: “Choose your character from six different unique class types and prepare for battle against creatures from hell.” Simple enough, really.
