“Secondary Fermentation” feats challenge
Remember what I said earlier about keeping a handy save? Well, if you wish to complete the “Secondary Fermentation” feats challenge, you’ll need to do some prepping before doing The Tour.
If you’re already dressed as the chief winemaker, head to the barrel room and take the door to your left. This is the ventilation room. There’s a worker here and a guard that you need to distract. Alternatively, you can eliminate both of them, but be very quiet about it so you don’t alert other hostiles.
Note 1: The rest of the steps I’ll outline will lead to a mission failure (because Diana will also end up dying). However, that should still let you complete the tally. Since the mission would fail anyway, you can kill random peeps.
Note 2: If you attempt to do this during The Tour, Vidal will continue following you around. If she spots the dead bodies, she’ll just run away.
Anyway, put lethal poison in the ventilation shaft and activate the machine. If you don’t have lethal poison yet, you can find it via the following methods:
- Reaching mastery rank 10 in Berlin/Apex Predator.
- Picking up the poison flower and using the distiller in the grape fields’ shed (seen below).
- Going to the cinema room and using a lockpick to open the door underneath the stairs (seen below).
- There’s also emetic rat poison in the ventilation room, but I was able to complete the challenge by using lethal poison. I’m not sure if emetic poison would work.
With the poison coursing through the vents and the controls activated, continue onward with The Tour and finish it normally. Reach the barrel room and ensure that Yates, Vidal, and Burnwood are talking to one another.
Next, use the flight of stairs in the ventilation room to reach the security control room. Rush past the guards and use the terminal. Choose “Ventilate Barrel Room” and watch as everyone there chokes to death.
