Hogwarts Legacy Hogsmeade Asmr

Hogwarts Legacy is set to release later this year and developer Avalanche Software has released an ASMR video to show off its audio and a bit of Hogsmeade. It’s an unusual marketing tactic, but much like a lot of whacky spells in the Wizarding World, it could be exactly what Harry Potter fans want. Hogwarts Legacy is an original action RPG set in the world of the Harry Potter franchise.

The newly released Hogwarts Legacy ASMR video features slow panning shots of some of the environments from the game. These include spots around the previously mentioned Hogsmeade village and the Hogwarts castle itself. The official description reads, “The rain is falling on a calm spring evening in Hogwarts Legacy – time to unwind with a quiet stroll through the castle grounds and beyond to Hogsmeade. Enjoy the sounds of the wizarding world.”

The 20-minute video focuses on the ambient sounds of the environment, and it does a good job of conveying how much detail the studio is putting into the sound design of the game. The sounds of insects and birds naturally mix with the calming noises of rain on various surfaces. Hopefully, this is a positive sign of how immersive the final product will be.

Hogwarts Legacy could be a dream game for Potterheads

An extended look at the gameplay and systems of Hogwarts Legacy gave fans a glimpse of what could make the game special when it releases this holiday. Firstly, Hogwarts Legacy will feature an original story that takes place long before the events of the books and films. Players will get to create their own witch or wizard as they transfer into the school as a fifth-year student.

Like every Harry Potter fan has always wanted, you can then put on the Sorting Hat and join one of the four houses of the school. Players will get to explore Hogwarts castle and its surrounding environments, take part in magical classes, and embark on a story involving a Goblin rebellion.

Avalanche Software has made clear how much respect it has for the source material. With that in mind, it seems like this Hogwarts Legacy ASMR video is just the latest step in proving that the team can bring this world to life.
