Hogwarts Legacy has you using wands to cast spells and do battle with foes. Still, as every Harry Potter fan knows, there exists one particular item that holds immense power, sought after by all witches and wizards. To be clear, what you’ll get in-game isn’t going to turn you into the next Dumbledore or Draco Malfoy, but it’s worth your while just for immersion and fluff. Hogwarts Legacy guide – How to get the Elder Wood Wand via the Wizarding World quiz
To get the Elder Wood Wand in Hogwarts Legacy via the Wizarding World quiz, you’ll need to go to a certain website: Wizardingworld.com’s Legacy Connect page. Make an account if you don’t have one yet, then click on the “Get Sorted” button. There are three quizzes here: House, Patronus, and Wand. The Patronus result doesn’t carry over in-game, so you need not bother with it, As for the House test, you could come up with a personalized result, such as Gryffindor.
And, of course, for the Wand quiz, you’ll need to pick a few key options:
- Height – Any.
- Eyes – Blue.
- The day you were born – Either.
- You pride yourself on… – Intelligence.
- Traveling alone on a deserted road, you go… – Right towards the castle.

Upon checking, it seems that the above choices do give you the Elder Wood Wand in Hogwarts Legacy due to your Wizarding World answers. However, there are two more questions below, and these determine the core:
- What do you fear most?
- What do you select from a chest of magical artifacts?
From our experience, it seems that a combination of answers yields a particular core. For instance, picking “Heights” and “Silver Dagger” will give you a Dragon Core. Meanwhile, selecting “Darkness” and “Bound Scroll” will net you a Phoenix Core.
