There are a ton of new trailer and game reveals during Summer Game Fest 2023. Honkai: Star Rail PlayStation 5 release date revealed

The Honkai: Star Rail trailer began by showing some of the cinematics for the new character called Silver Wolf. She’s already available in Honkai: Star Rail‘s latest 1.1 update, and you can unlock her through the latest Warp.

After Silver Wolf, the trailer revealed a new upcoming red-headed character. Many of HoYoverse’s upcoming characters leak before they’re revealed, meaning many players already knew who this will be. His name is Luka, and his main method of combat is punching using his mechanical fist. Luka will presumably be available in one of the next few Warps in a future update.

One of the most anticipated announcements was the reveal of the PlayStation 5 version’s release date at the very end of the new Honkai: Star Rail trailer at Summer Game Fest 2023. Although it’s not a solid release date, we at least have a release window. Currently, it’s only playable on PC and mobile, but it’s cross-progression. This means that while you may be playing it on PC or mobile, you can play on the same account when it releases on PlayStation 5.

HoYoverse will release Honkai: Star Rail on PlayStation 5 during Q4 2023. Not sure what that means? Well, Q4 is the fourth quarter of 2023. This means that Honkai: Star Rail should be on PlayStation 5 around October to December of this year. That’s not too far away, so if you’re waiting patiently for the PlayStation 5 version, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer. If you want to watch the trailer for yourself, it’s already available on YouTube, plucked straight from the Summer Game Fest 2023 livestream!
