Honkai: Star Rail features a massive roster of 5-star characters. In Version 1.2, Honkai: Star Rail introduced us to the vampiric Blade. This character is a part of the Stellaron Hunters and has a mysterious grudge against Dan Heng. Blade is a Wind Destruction character. Blade can act as a main DPS character or as a sub-DPS character for other teams. Here are some characters that work well with Blade.
- Luocha is Blade’s best healer. His mechanic that heals as your team does damage can keep Blade as healthy as you need him to be. Other healers like Natasha or Bailu can work, but they are more inconsistent at keeping Blade alive. Healers are highly prioritized over shielders, as Blade deals more damage as he takes more damage. Shielders will prevent a source of damage that Blade takes.
- Bronya is Blade’s best buffer. Tingyun does not work, as her ATK buff is wasted on Blade. Bronya provides a flat DMG increase and Crit DMG buff on her Ultimate. Additionally, her Skill action forwards Blade and forces him to act, which allows him to get more stacks and deal more damage. Yukong is another acceptable buffer thanks to the Crit Rate + Crit DMG buff on her Ultimate, but keep in mind, her ATK buff will go wasted on Blade.
- The last slot of Blade’s team is best filled with a debuffer character. Silver Wolf is the best option, as she can add a weakness for Wind for enemies that lack this weakness. Additionally, she increases your Blade’s damage through a variety of different means, such as a DEF shred. Pela is also a great option, as she can reduce DEF and has the additional utility of removing buffs (granted, Luocha already serves this niche with his Ultimate.)
