There are many ferocious foes you’ll come across during your time with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. One of these enemies is the wormy Like Like, with one boss fight turning one into a Sludge Like. While making your way through the main quest in the Zora Domain, you and Sidon meet this nasty creature. But how can you beat the Sludge Like in Tears of the Kingdom? Continue reading to find out.
Tears of the Kingdom: Sludge Like boss fight guide
Although the Sludge Like isn’t too difficult to take down, it’s important to learn about Sidon’s ability when it comes to facing this. Sidon’s Power of Water protects you in a sphere of water that blocks enemy attacks. Also, the next swing you make with your weapon turns it into a strong water wave attack.

The Sludge Like will try to slow you down by spewing out Sludge. Although you’re protected from the Sludge with Sidon’s ability, I would recommend you make yourself a water weapon. I Fused an Opal with a Scepter to create a magical weapon that could clear Sludge pretty easily.
Otherwise, you can use Sidon’s ability to swing attacks at him or protect yourself from Sludge. Get close enough till the creature exposes its purple weak point. One hit will stun the Sludge Like, giving you lots of time to lay some heavy attacks on it.

One thing to remember is that the Sludge Like can burrow underground and pop up somewhere else. But otherwise, keep hitting the Sludge Like with the same type of attacks. Also, if you don’t wash the Sludge off of this creature, it will cover its weak point, so make sure to wash it off as much as possible. Splash Fruit also does the trick!
Keep going through this routine until it’s defeated. That’s all it takes to know how to beat the Sludge Like in Tears of the Kingdom!
