How to build the best Call of Duty: Vanguard H4 Blixen class

Shaking up the SMG meta.

The launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard Season Three Reloaded saw the debut of the new Sphere map. In the Pacific, Warzone fans are moving around Caldera with the new fast-travel system, using items such as legendary tokens, and much more. As always, the mid-season update has added a weapon, and this time the submachine gun category has earned a new member. To unlock the new H4 Blixen, you must complete a challenge. Once you have done so, you can begin levelling up the H4 Blixen to unlock the attachments needed to build a strong class in Vanguard.

The H4 Blixen has a slower fire rate, and is similar the Owen Gun. Although the weapon predominantly thrives in close-quarter combat, it is able to put up a fight at range. In addition, it already has a respectable amount of mobility, which is a valued submachine gun trait. The maps that this weapon suits include the likes of Dome and Hotel Royale. This class will focus on improving the H4 Blixen’s fire rate and the recoil to allow you to take over your future lobbies.

Call of Duty: Vanguard H4 Blixen class

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Jonsson 9” RMK
  • Stock: Karlsson Padded Coz
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 9mm 72 Round Mags
  • Ammunition Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Perfectionist
  • Kit: Fully Loaded
  • Optic: Slate Reflector

Let’s begin by breaking down the class. The first attachment is the Recoil Booster which quickens the fire rate of your H4 Blixen. When selecting a barrel, the Jonsson 9” RMK is a viable option for further boosting your fire rate and damage. It also helps you experience less damage falloff and range. To increase your accuracy, the Karlsson Padded Coz stock provides you with better accuracy and recoil during sustained fire, as well as flinch resistance. Then, the M1941 Hand Stop is useful for more recoil control and accuracy.

Never run out of bullets

In terms of a magazine, the 9mm 72 Round Mags will significantly widen your magazine capacity without hitting you with any huge detriments. The Lengthened ammunition type can make the submachine gun even better at range with more bullet velocity. Equipping the Fully Loaded Kit then ensures you take the maximum starting ammunition to the battlefield.

There are a few more attachments to note. With the Fabric Grip, you gain faster sprint to fire speed, aim down sight speed, and hip fire recoil recovery. The Perfectionist proficiency continues to improve your recoil control. Finally, the Slate Reflector optic is a clear sight that allows you to take advantage of the added accuracy and fire power.

When you’re selecting a secondary weapon to accompany your H4 Blixen in Vanguard, a pistol is a viable option. If you need to reload and there is an enemy up ahead, switching to a pistol can be quicker. At the time of writing, the Ratt remains one of the strongest pistols in Vanguard multiplayer and Season Three.
