Call of Duty: Vanguard‘s fifth and final season is well underway. The update has introduced fans to a new map set in New York, the return of some well-known villains, and more. Over in the Pacific, players have been trying out new items such as Rage Serum and taking part in the limited-time event. Of course, a new season means that there are new weapons to try out. One of these new weapons is known as the RA 225 submachine gun. To get your hands on it, all you have to do is reach tier 31 of the Season Five battle pass where you will unlock it for free. With the best attachments, you can build a strong RA 225 class to take into your next Vanguard match.
The RA 225 is lightweight and has quick handling. The weapon will thrive the most in close- to medium-range fights. Therefore, it will suit maps with opportunities to get up close and personal with the enemy. Maps such as Shipment, Das Haus, and Hotel Royale are just a few examples, among many others. Predominantly, this class will focus on raising the fire rate and taming the upward kick of the weapon.

Lets begin by breaking down the build. The first attachment is the Recoil Booster muzzle which increases your fire rate. Pairing this with the Urban Rapid 11” barrel boosts your fire rate even further and turns your weapon into a fast killing machine. Then, the Valenta Kotva stock is valuable for improved horizontal recoil control and aim down sight speed. The M1941 Hand Stop will continue addressing the accuracy and recoil control of your submachine gun.

There are a few more attachments to note. The Fabric Grip provides you with greater aim down sight speed, sprint to fire speed, and hip fire recoil recovery. Equipping the Vital Proficiency will make the area for critical kills larger and allow you to shred through the battlefield. Finally, complete your class with the Slate Reflector optic which will see you take down your opponents with precision.
With this Vanguard RA 225 class, you should fill your secondary weapon slot with a trusty pistol. If you find yourself in a situation where an enemy is up ahead but you need to reload, swapping to a pistol is a faster option.
